Civiltest Sportsground Laboratory new staff member

The Civiltest Sportsground Laboratory is excited to announce the addition of a new staff member to the team, Laboratory Technician, Stuart Trainer.

A recent Bachelor of Science graduate from The University of Melbourne, Stuart brings a fresh new approach to our dedicated Sportsground Laboratory and shows great enthusiasm for analytical excellence.

“As someone who is new to geotechnical materials testing, I’m increasingly impressed with the depth of science and knowledge involved with this field,” said Stuart.

“Stuart has quickly proven himself to be a highly professional, skilled and eager laboratory technician. His role is instrumental to the continued growth and success of our work,” says Sportsground Laboratory Manager, Darren Ashdown.

“During the many stages of testing material for production, supply and construction, our Sportsground Laboratory staff team is fortunate to work with clients from every type of background and experience, which give great variety to their roles.”

Despite the continuing impact of lockdowns and the resulting delays in construction, the Civiltest Sportsground Laboratory has received a consistently high number of requests for assistance and delivered efficient and cost-effective testing.

Throughout this increased demand for testing, the laboratory has continued to acquire new test methods and specialist equipment to facilitate client needs.
